Community Honda recently announced plans for an all-new state-of-the-art facility in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The 10-acre future home of Community Honda is located along Highway 90 near the airport. It will include a 50,000-square-foot facility with over 30 service bays, a children’s play area, a café, and many more amenities.

“After three years in Lafayette, we are excited to expand our presence to better serve the community,” said Roger Elswick, Community Honda owner.

Seth Citron, Stirling Properties senior advisor, brokered the transaction and worked with Community Honda to secure the new location. “This was a great project to work on, and I’m excited for Roger and Kim Elswick’s entire Community team. This will be a remarkable new development that will service their loyal employees and customers for the next generation of Honda products in and around the Acadiana area. I’m eager to see this property returned to commerce and provide an enhanced economic boost for the market,” said Citron.

With construction set to begin in 2022, the new facility is expected to open in 2023 and will be the first in Louisiana to use Honda’s newest designs.

Stirling Properties & Level Homes Developing Oak Heritage Townhomes in Prairieville, Louisiana

Company’s first single-family for-rent development.

Through a joint venture with Level Homes, Stirling Properties announces the development of Oak Heritage Townhomes at 37584 Grand Oak Dr (LA-73) in Prairieville, Louisiana. This project marks Stirling Properties’ first single-family, build-to-rent development.

Stirling Properties and Level Homes recently closed on the acquisition of 7.96 acres of property, including one existing townhome, and plan to develop 51 additional units along with a leasing office and pool. The new development will include almost entirely 3-bedroom high-quality, single-family townhomes expressly built for the rental market. In addition, each unit will be equipped with a 2-car garage. The project design team is led by Ratliff Architects, and the builder is Level Homes. Construction began on the first townhomes in late December, and the development is expected to be complete by the end of 2022.

Through the joint venture, Stirling Properties will be responsible for the development of all horizontal land improvements and amenities in addition to asset management and accounting oversight of the project. Level Homes will be responsible for all vertical building improvements. BH Management will handle daily onsite management and leasing.

LOFT18 Is Coming to Mandeville, Louisiana

Stirling Properties announces LOFT18, an interactive sports bar and lounge, is coming to Mandeville, Louisiana. Stirling Properties is serving as the brokerage representative for LOFT18 in its regional expansion efforts.

LOFT18, founded in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an innovative, interactive golf and multi-sport concept featuring custom-built, state-of-the-art Full Swing Golf simulators. It showcases games & championship courses to deliver precision play at its finest to golfers of all experience levels. And for non-golfers, LOFT18’s full-service bar and restaurant offers gastro-pub fare, craft beer and cocktails, and New Orleans’ famous service and hospitality.

This marks the third retail location for LOFT18. The company recently closed on the purchase of property located at the corner of St. Ann Drive and N. Causeway Blvd. (Hwy. 190 Frontage Road) in Mandeville to construct a ground-up 10,000-square-foot restaurant and bar with outdoor dining space. The new location will feature five simulators and one VIP room with a private simulator for parties of 20-30 people. The contractor on the development is Cassesi Scully Commercial Construction and the architect is Sizeler, Thompson & Brown Architects. Construction is expected to begin soon, with an anticipated opening in September-November 2022.

In 2017, Stirling Properties developed its first mixed-use medical facility on a 3.5-acre site in LaPlace, LA. The micro-hospital was based upon a 20-year lease to Ochsner Clinic Foundation for a 20,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department and imaging services clinic. In 2018, a Stirling Properties affiliated entity acquired and subsequently managed the renovation of the shuttered Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA, returning it to commerce through a long-term master lease with Ochsner Clinic Foundation. The 205,000-square-foot building was repurposed into Northshore Medical Complex, a post-acute care facility featuring long-term acute care, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation services in one central location. These services are provided by Ochsner Health System, Slidell Memorial Hospital, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and Select Medical. Other notable healthcare projects include facilities management of St. Mary Medical Center in Shreveport; the development of four Ochsner Kidney Care Clinics in the Greater New Orleans Area; the development of St. Tammany Cancer Center in Covington; the development of Ochsner Medical Complex–The Grove in Baton Rouge; and the development of a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Bossier City, to name a few.

Stirling Properties Develops Three New Ochsner Health Facilities to Serve GNO Area

Projects helping to backfill former retail space & expand healthcare real estate services.

Stirling Properties, in partnership with Ochsner Health System, has developed three new Ochsner Health facilities to serve the greater New Orleans area. Located in Covington, Slidell and Metairie, the facilities will be completed and open to the public by the end of the year.

  • A Pediatrics Center is located in River Chase Shopping Center at I-12 and E. Brewster Road in Covington. The 18,000-square-foot clinic opened on November 17th along Brewster Rd. immediately next to Target. In addition to a state-of-the-art Pediatrics clinic, this space also includes the Live Oak Pediatric Rehab Center, one of a kind in St. Tammany Parish. Rozas Ward is the Architect, and Donahue Favret is the General Contractor for the development.
  • A Multi-use Clinic including pediatrics, behavioral health, women’s and primary care services is located in Oakridge Place Shopping Center at 800 Metairie Road in Metairie. The 12,450-square-foot clinic will replace two former retail spaces on the end cap of the shopping center. Construction is complete, and the clinic is expected to open on December 14th. The General Contractor is Ryan Gootee General Contractor, and Rozas Ward is the Architect on the project.
  • A Physical Therapy and Training Clinic is rounding out construction in Plaza 190 Shopping Center located at 128 Gause Boulevard in Slidell. The 15,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in mid-December. The General Contractor is Clement Construction, and Grace Hebert Curtis serves as the Architect on the project.

Stirling Properties is serving as the developer, leasing agent and landlord in all three projects.

Stirling and Kent Design Build Announce Groundbreaking Of New Corporate Headquarters At River Chase

Stirling and Kent Design Build today joined St. Tammany Corporation to announce the commencement of construction for River Chase Office II, a cutting-edge Class A office building spanning over 50,000 square feet, which will serve as the new corporate headquarters for both Stirling and Kent Design Build. This strategic move to the River Chase development reflects the companies’ commitment to growth, innovation, and investment in St. Tammany Parish.

The state-of-the-art design represents an investment of more than $20 million and will include a rooftop terrace, a reservable boardroom for the tenants of the building, and a geothermal HVAC system.
