Stirling and Kent Design Build Announce Groundbreaking of New Corporate Headquarters at River Chase

Stirling and Kent Design Build today joined St. Tammany Corporation to announce the commencement of construction for River Chase Office II, a cutting-edge Class A office building spanning over 50,000 square feet, which will serve as the new corporate headquarters for both Stirling and Kent Design Build. This strategic move to the River Chase development reflects the companies’ commitment to growth, innovation, and investment in St. Tammany Parish.

Stirling and Kent Design Build’s new corporate headquarters, near the intersection of Interstate 12 and LA Highway 21, was designed by Southeastern Louisiana-based architecture firm Eskew Dumez Ripple (EDR). The state-of-the-art design represents an investment of more than $20 million and will include a rooftop terrace, a reservable boardroom for the tenants of the building, and a geothermal HVAC system. The array of advantages provided by this modern workplace facility will bolster the company’s commitment to serving clients and employees.

Stirling Properties Announces New Tenants at Hammond Square

 

Stirling Properties announces the arrival of Buff City SoapCrumbl Cookies, and Marble Slab Creamery at Hammond Square shopping center.

Buff City Soap specializes in plant-based soaps, handmade daily in each shop’s “Soap Makery”. They produce customizable bath bombs, laundry soaps, shaving bars, beard oils, body butters, handsoaps, and more. Buff City Soap was founded in 2013 and now has more than 200 stores across 31 states.  Buff City Soap is planning to open in the 4th Quarter of 2022 at Hammond Square.

Crumbl Cookies got its start in Utah in 2017 and has expanded to over 600 locations nationwide, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation. A rotating menu of flavors are announced every week with their award-winning milk chocolate chip cookie always available. Crumbl Cookies will open its doors at Hammond Square 1st Quarter of 2023.

Founded in Houston, Texas in 1983, Marble Slab Creamery was the first ice cream treatery to use a frozen granite slab to blend mix-in toppings into its ice cream. Stores use locally-sourced cream and freshly-baked waffle cones to create a one-of-a-kind frozen dessert on demand. There are more than 1,100 stores worldwide with most locations concentrated in the southeastern US. The Marble Slab Creamery has recently signed a lease at Hammond Square but has not yet announced an opening date.

Stirling Properties announces four new tenants and development updates at Fremaux Town Center and the surrounding Fremaux Park mixed-use project in Slidell, Louisiana.

  • Spencer’s gifts, fashion, and décor store will occupy 3,500 square feet of retail space on Town Center Parkway, Suite C400, next to Torrid. The new novelty retailer opened this week.
  • Skechers shoe store will fill 9,000 square feet of retail space off Levis Lane, Suite D900, next to Rock’ N Roll Sushi.
  • Ding Tea, offering Taiwanese teas, coffee, and dessert drinks, will fill 1,793 square feet of space on Town Center Parkway, Suite C700, between Journeys and European Wax Center.
  • Lendmark Financial Services will also take 1,200 square feet of space on Town Center Parkway, Suite B500, next to Chico’s.

Stirling Properties announces LOFT18, an interactive sports bar and lounge, is coming to Mandeville, Louisiana. Stirling Properties is serving as the brokerage representative for LOFT18 in its regional expansion efforts.

LOFT18, founded in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an innovative, interactive golf and multi-sport concept featuring custom-built, state-of-the-art Full Swing Golf simulators. It showcases games & championship courses to deliver precision play at its finest to golfers of all experience levels. And for non-golfers, LOFT18’s full-service bar and restaurant offers gastro-pub fare, craft beer and cocktails, and New Orleans’ famous service and hospitality.

This marks the third retail location for LOFT18. The company recently closed on the purchase of property located at the corner of St. Ann Drive and N. Causeway Blvd. (Hwy. 190 Frontage Road) in Mandeville to construct a ground-up 10,000-square-foot restaurant and bar with outdoor dining space. The new location will feature five simulators and one VIP room with a private simulator for parties of 20-30 people. The contractor on the development is Cassesi Scully Commercial Construction and the architect is Sizeler, Thompson & Brown Architects. Construction is expected to begin soon, with an anticipated opening in September-November 2022.

Stirling Properties Brings Target to Premier Centre in Mandeville, Louisiana

Rack Room Shoes expansion & relocation paves the way for new retail opportunities.

Stirling Properties announces the addition of Target to the tenant lineup at Premier Centre, located on U.S. Highway 190 in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Target will occupy roughly 58,000 square feet of retail space, backfilling the former Stein Mart store, as well as the adjacent space currently housing Rack Room Shoes, and an additional 13,000 square feet of new building expansion area in the rear of the building. Rack Room Shoes will expand and relocate next to Whole Foods Market in the former Forever 21 Red space. Rack Room Shoes is expected to re-open in its expanded space in the fall of 2021.

Stirling Properties announces Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location at Hammond Square in Hammond, Louisiana, on July 19th, 2021. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Tangipahoa Chamber of Commerce will be held at 10am.

The highly anticipated restaurant will be located on C.M. Fagan Drive, next to PetSmart and Five Below, in the Hammond Square shopping center. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux local franchisee DBMC Restaurants acquired 1.35 acres of property to build and operate the roughly 8,025-square-foot restaurant as part of a redevelopment project on the northeast side of the shopping center. DBMC Restaurants is a veteran restaurant group that currently operates three restaurant brands across six states and is one of the largest franchisees of Walk-On’s.
