Culver’s Restaurants Coming To Alabama

Stirling Properties is pleased to welcome the 1st Culver’s restaurant to Foley, AL.
Culver’s franchisee Curtis Herbig recently closed on the acquisition of a 1-acre parcel of land located at 3201 South McKenzie Street in Foley for construction of the restaurant. Work on the site has commenced, and the projected opening date is anticipated for early November of 2018. Andrew Dickman, Sales & Leasing Executive with Stirling Properties, worked with Culver’s to secure the property.

According to an announcement from Culver’s, other restaurants are in the planning stages for Alabama, however specific locations and timelines have not been determined.
Midwest-based Culver’s is an expanding fast-casual franchise chain with over 660 independently owned and operated restaurants in 24 states. Alabama will be the chain’s 25th. Signature menu items include the ButterBurger®, (from the lightly buttered bun) made from fresh, never frozen U.S. beef, and fresh Frozen Custard, including the famous Flavor of the Day program. The restaurants’ award-winning customer service is based on small-town, Midwestern values, genuine friendliness and an unwavering commitment to quality and cleanliness.

Pizza Platoon has leased 2,500 square feet of restaurant space as part of a new building suite that was recently constructed on the east side of Levis Lane, across from LensCrafters. Build out is underway for the space and the eatery plans to open in the summer of 2018. Kay Jewelers occupies the additional 2,000 square feet and opened this past Wednesday.
Previously announced, Rock N Roll Sushi will celebrate its grand opening soon. European Wax Center is now open.
Ruth Garrett Way, a new road that connects Town Center Parkway and Bill Garrett Road (I-10 Service Road), opened for public access late this summer. This new infrastructure will provide access and utilities to open up another 50+ acres for development including the upcoming Springhill Suites.
Springhill Suites by Marriott is still on track to begin construction early next year and plans to open in the fourth quarter of 2018. The four-story hotel will have 88 rooms and will be located on the south side of the shopping center at the corner of Ruth Garrett Way and Bill Garrett Road.
Fremaux Town Center, anchored by Dillard’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, and Best Buy, is a roughly 350-acre regional mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of Interstate 10 and Fremaux Avenue in Slidell, Louisiana. The center includes approximately 635,000 square feet of retail and restaurant options, as well as Springs at Fremaux Town Center’s 296 luxury residential apartment units, and Springhill Suites by Marriott soon under construction. Additional phases are coming soon with added residential, retail, and office park.

Exit 16 and Rock N Roll Sushi Join Tenant Lineup at Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, Louisiana

Exit 16 women’s clothing boutique has leased 2,223 square feet of space and opened for business last weekend. This marks the 2nd retail location for the Mississippi-based company.
Rock N Roll Sushi will occupy 2,040 square feet of space and is also expected to open early next year. This is the 2nd Louisiana location for the sushi restaurant franchise.

Stirling Properties Announces Lease For The SteaKhouse in Hammond, Louisiana
Stirling Properties commercial real estate company is pleased to announce the lease of 4,035 square feet of restaurant space to The SteaKhouse in Hammond, Louisiana.
The SteaKhouse will be moving from its current space on East Thomas Street, to a newly constructed building located at 200 Southwest Railroad Avenue, at the corner of SWRR Avenue and West Morris. Stirling Properties Senior Investment Sales Advisor, Beezie Landry, handled the transaction. The new restaurant location, a development referred to as Square 71, is owned by Bruce O’Krepki and is currently under construction.
The SteaKhouse owners Blake and Megan Kinchen said that they plan to open in the newly expanded space this fall. “We are so happy to be moving into this new beautiful building that will offer more room to accommodate our guests. Our business is growing tremendously and we truly thank the community for your continued support and patronage. We hope you will come visit us in our new place this fall!” said Megan Kinchen.
