Stirling Properties Announces New Tenants at Hammond Square

 

Stirling Properties announces the arrival of Buff City SoapCrumbl Cookies, and Marble Slab Creamery at Hammond Square shopping center.

Buff City Soap specializes in plant-based soaps, handmade daily in each shop’s “Soap Makery”. They produce customizable bath bombs, laundry soaps, shaving bars, beard oils, body butters, handsoaps, and more. Buff City Soap was founded in 2013 and now has more than 200 stores across 31 states.  Buff City Soap is planning to open in the 4th Quarter of 2022 at Hammond Square.

Crumbl Cookies got its start in Utah in 2017 and has expanded to over 600 locations nationwide, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation. A rotating menu of flavors are announced every week with their award-winning milk chocolate chip cookie always available. Crumbl Cookies will open its doors at Hammond Square 1st Quarter of 2023.

Founded in Houston, Texas in 1983, Marble Slab Creamery was the first ice cream treatery to use a frozen granite slab to blend mix-in toppings into its ice cream. Stores use locally-sourced cream and freshly-baked waffle cones to create a one-of-a-kind frozen dessert on demand. There are more than 1,100 stores worldwide with most locations concentrated in the southeastern US. The Marble Slab Creamery has recently signed a lease at Hammond Square but has not yet announced an opening date.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux at Hammond Square Opens July 19th

Stirling Properties announces Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location at Hammond Square in Hammond, Louisiana, on July 19th, 2021. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Tangipahoa Chamber of Commerce will be held at 10am.

The highly anticipated restaurant will be located on C.M. Fagan Drive, next to PetSmart and Five Below, in the Hammond Square shopping center. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux local franchisee DBMC Restaurants acquired 1.35 acres of property to build and operate the roughly 8,025-square-foot restaurant as part of a redevelopment project on the northeast side of the shopping center. DBMC Restaurants is a veteran restaurant group that currently operates three restaurant brands across six states and is one of the largest franchisees of Walk-On’s.

The popular sports-themed restaurant started in Baton Rouge by two former LSU basketball walk-ons has thrived over the years and expanded with more than 100 locations open or in development across 15 states. Currently, there are 19 Walk-On’s restaurants operating in Louisiana.

Hammond Square marks the 3rd location for the Northshore region, with existing restaurants at Stirling Properties’ River Chase development in Covington and Fremaux Town Center in Slidell.

Stirling Properties Announces Grand Opening of Chipotle at Hammond Square in Hammond, Louisiana

Shopping center nearing completion of multi-tenant retail redevelopment project.

Stirling Properties announces Chipotle Mexican Grill will celebrate its grand opening at Hammond Square shopping center on Thursday, August 27th. An official (socially distanced) grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in partnership with the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce.

The new fast-casual restaurant specializes in build-your-own tacos, burritos, salads and bowls, and will feature a Chipotlane, the brand’s drive-thru mobile/digital order pick-up lane, where customers can retrieve pre-placed orders without leaving their car. Chipotle will be located on Hammond Square Drive near the entrance to the shopping center.

Five Guys restaurant will also occupy 2,450 square feet of space right next door to Chipotle and is expected to open in early October of this year.

Construction Nearing Completion for Redevelopment at Hammond Square

Stirling Properties commercial real estate company is nearing completion on the redevelopment project at Hammond Square shopping center in Hammond, Louisiana. Demolition of the former Sears and Rite Aid buildings was completed earlier this year to make way for the $15 million multi-tenant retail redevelopment project.

This summer, the company announced that Michaels, HomeGoods, Five Below and PetSmart would be constructed on the former Sears parcel. Walk On’s Bistreaux & Bar has also recently announced its intention to join the tenant lineup with a projected opening in late summer of 2020. Constructions of the new space is underway and expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020, with the retail tenants anticipated to open in the second quarter of 2020. Hammond Square is also developing a two-tenant outparcel building in front of the former Rite Aid that will be occupied by Five Guys and Chipotle. This building is also expected to be completed in the summer of 2020.

Stirling Properties Announces New Tenants at Hammond Square

Redevelopment of former Sears and Rite Aid stores into multi-tenant retail space.

Stirling Properties commercial real estate company is thrilled to announce that Michaels, HomeGoods, Five Below and PetSmart will join the tenant lineup at Hammond Square shopping center in Hammond, Louisiana.

Michaels, HomeGoods and Five Below will occupy a newly constructed multi-tenant building on the parcel formerly occupied by Sears and Rite Aid. Michaels will lease 21,000 square feet, HomeGoods will lease 22,000 square feet and Five Below will lease 8,300 square feet.  PetSmart will occupy approximately 15,000-square-foot store adjacent to Hibbett Sports. There will be a newly created outparcel at the corner of Hammond Square Drive and Palace Drive, near the entrance of the retail center.  This outparcel is available for a future retail or restaurant up to 6,000 square feet.

Demolition of the former Sears and Rite Aid buildings was completed earlier this year to make way for the $15 million redevelopment project. Construction of the new space has commenced, and developers are recycling the crushed concrete from the building demolition to use for paving base material. Buildout is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020 with the new retail tenants anticipated to open in the second quarter of 2020.

Also new to Hammond Square, Old Navy celebrated its grand opening this past spring. The new-to-market fashion retailer is located on Palace Drive between Zales and Shoe Dept. Encore.  Poké City recently announced that it would open its 2nd Louisiana location at Hammond Square. The restaurant, serving Hawaiian-inspired food bowls, will occupy the former Which Wich location on Palace Drive between Menchie’s and GNC. It is expected to open this August.

Old Navy Grand Opening & New Poké Restaurant at Hammond Square

Stirling Properties commercial real estate company is pleased to announce new goings-on at Hammond Square shopping center in Hammond, Louisiana.

Old Navy will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, May 11th, with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 11am. Grand opening festivities, including a store-wide sale and exclusive coupons, will continue through 1pm.

The new-to-market fashion retailer will be located on Palace Drive between Zales and Shoe Dept. Encore. Old Navy announced plans to occupy and expand the space in the fall of 2018. It has hired approximately 40 employees and team leaders to staff the new store.

Poké City is also coming to Hammond Square. The restaurant will serve Hawaiian-inspired food bowls with a selection of seafood and meats, vegetables, rice, noodles, sushi burritos, soup and salads. It will occupy the former Which Wich location on Palace Drive between Menchie’s and GNC. Construction timelines and anticipated opening date will be announced shortly.

Demolition work is still underway at Hammond Square on the former Rite Aid and Sears stores to make way for redevelopment and the addition of 4-5 new tenants and restaurants. The project is on track to be completed in early 2020. Lease negotiations are ongoing with several regional and national retailers to be announced soon.
