HAMMOND, Louisiana—- (JANUARY 4, 2011) Stirling Properties, developer of Hammond Square, brings a new fashion accessory boutique to their shopping center. Charming Charlie will occupy a 9,911 square foot space located on Main Street across from Books-A-Million and Shoe Department Encore. The anticipated opening is set for early this spring.
Charming Charlie is a Houston, Texas based retailer that opened in 2004. At the end of 2010 they had expanded to encompass 96 locations across the United States, including two in Louisiana – Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge and the Mall of Acadiana in Lafayette. Their success is attributed to blending fun, style, color and affordability to create a unique women’s boutique environment. Awarded the “Hot Retailer of 2010” by The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Charming Charlie brings new style to Hammond Square.

Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC Acquires Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC , an entity comprised of local investors led by Stirling Properties, recently acquired the Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors, a private real estate investment firm in San Diego, California.
Stirling Properties’ Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Jeffrey L. Marshall, led the team in this effort to acquire the 673,000 square foot high-rise located at 601 Poydras Street. The exclusive management and leasing rights will be handled by Stirling Properties, whose portfolio now includes over 12 million square feet.

Stirling Properties’ River Chase is designated as a Louisiana Economic Development Certified Site
COVINGTON, Louisiana—- (DECEMBER 22, 2010) River Chase, a master planned, multi-use Stirling Properties’ development in Covington, satisfies all requirements set forth by the Louisiana Economic Development (LED) Certified Sites Program and has been designated as an LED Certified Site. After a rigorous review process by LED and URS, an independent third-party engineering firm, the certification means that River Chase is suitable for economic development projects.
“The LED Certified Sites Program is designed to make Louisiana more competitive for economic development deals by certifying sites that have the ability to break ground within 90 days because all rights to build are in place,” said Townsend Underhill, Vice President of Development for Stirling Properties. “River Chase’s new certification positions St. Tammany Parish for great economic success, and the Development Team at Stirling Properties remains committed to bringing national caliber businesses into the area.”
Since the inception of the LED Certified Sites Program earlier this year, LED has only certified two other Louisiana sites; the Donaldsonville Technology and Industrial Park in Donaldsonville and North Whittington Property in Shreveport. River Chase is now Louisiana’s third site, and only development in the New Orleans Metro, to be recognized with this significant honor.
Stirling Properties’ Development Team worked to receive this certification by performing due diligence with regard to legal control of the property for possible sale and/or lease, zoning restrictions, surveys, title work, environmental studies, wetlands permits, road and utility infrastructure, access to primary shipping routes, elevations, flood plain, soil analysis, traffic studies, and public infrastructure engineering. Stirling Properties Welcomes Randy Raudabaugh to its Team
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana —- (DECEMBER 13, 2010) Stirling Properties announces the addition of Randy Raudabaugh to the Commercial Brokerage Division’s team of sales professionals located at 8550 United Plaza Boulevard in Baton Rouge. He will serve customers throughout the Greater Baton Rouge market.
Mr. Raudabaugh joins Stirling Properties after having served thirty-five years with the ExxonMobil Corporation including twelve years with Exxon’s real estate development subsidiary, Friendswood Development Company, managing a broad range of commercial, residential and industrial development projects. His last ten years were with ExxonMobil’s Global Real Estate and Facilities department where he became familiar with markets worldwide. As Senior Vice President of Global Real Estate, Mr. Raudabaugh ran the real estate business in North and South America, managing millions of square feet of ExxonMobil office and warehouse leases in addition to a variety of real estate responsibilities throughout the western hemisphere. Up until his retirement in August of 2009, Mr. Raudabaugh served as the Senior Global Services Executive at the company’s corporate headquarters in Irving, Texas.

Mr. Raudabaugh holds designations as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM). He graduated with honors from Louisiana State University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in marketing and Master’s of Business Administration degrees. While at LSU, Randy was on the gymnastics team and a football cheerleader. Mr. Raudabaugh is an active member in the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association, Corenet, and the LSU “L” Club.

The award was presented for superior skills as a Merchandiser and Promoter of the Game of Golf. Caldwell won the award in the Resort & Daily Fee category of the Gulf PGA Member Clubs.Andre’ is a 1985 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she served as the Women’s Golf Team Captain and was a four year letterman. Caldwell became the first woman to win a college event for LSU in 1981, when she won the Memphis State University Invitational. In 1988, she played professionally on the LPGA Futures Tour before completing her PGA of America Membership later that year.
In 1992, Caldwell won the Gulf States PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award for Private Clubs, while working at Beau Chene Golf & Racquet Club in Mandeville. She moved to Carter Plantation in May of 2007, where she has served as Director of Instruction and Head Golf Professional.
