BOSSIER CITY, LOUISIANA (MAY 2, 2011)–On May 1st, 2011, Stirling Properties was awarded the exclusive listing contract for the sale and lease of existing retail shop space and vacant land at Villaggio in Bossier City. As the Broker, Stirling Properties will market approximately 55,000 square feet of main street retail space and up to six outparcel pad sites while the ownership and operation of the multi-family and office space will be retained by Villaggio Bossier, LLC.

Stirling Properties Welcomes Roger Bajon to its Team
COVINGTON, Louisiana—- (APRIL 20, 2011) Stirling Properties announces the addition of Roger Bajon to the company’s Commercial Brokerage Division located at 109 Northpark Blvd. Suite 300 in Covington, Louisiana as an Associate Broker.

Mr. Bajon has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate financing and mortgage brokerage. For the past eight years he worked for Bajon Commercial Capital, LLC, a commercial real estate mortgage brokerage and advisory company he founded in 2003. Prior to owning his own company, Mr. Bajon served 21 years at Hibernia National Bank in various leadership positions all relating to the commercial real estate industry. His primary responsibilities included the establishment and oversight of all aspects of the banks’ commercial real estate lending division and commercial mortgage brokerage unit. This encompassed the management of construction, development and acquisition loans on income properties throughout the Gulf South for both the bank’s loan portfolio and placement with long-term third party lenders. He also served as the bank’s primary executive in a joint venture entity that originated, underwrote, sold and serviced loans to Fannie Mae through its DUS multi-family loan program.
Mr. Bajon earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana State University and is a licensed broker in the state of Louisiana.
Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC Acquires Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana
COVINGTON, Louisiana —- (DECEMBER 22, 2010)
Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC , an entity comprised of local investors led by Stirling Properties, recently acquired the Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors, a private real estate investment firm in San Diego, California.
Stirling Properties’ Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Jeffrey L. Marshall, led the team in this effort to acquire the 673,000 square foot high-rise located at 601 Poydras Street. The exclusive management and leasing rights will be handled by Stirling Properties, whose portfolio now includes over 12 million square feet.
“We are very excited about the acquisition of the Pan-American Life Center,” said Marty Mayer, President and CEO of Stirling Properties. “Our acquisition team seized a tremendous opportunity to own what we believe is the premier office building in the Central Business District of New Orleans.”

Stirling Properties’ Hammond Square Wins Best of Construction Award
HAMMOND, Louisiana – (December 3, 2010) At an awards luncheon held at Boudreaux’s in Baton Rouge yesterday, representatives from Stirling Properties, Richard Price Contracting Co., LLC and Duplantis Design Group accepted an award on behalf of Hammond Square. The Power-lifestyle center received Louisiana’s Best of 2010 award of merit in the civil construction category.
Awards were given by McGraw Hill Construction Company and South Central Construction magazine for construction and design excellence. An independent jury of industry experts awarded projects based on safety, innovation, craftsmanship, and contribution to the community or industry by project type.
Hammond Square, originally developed as a 430,000 SF enclosed Mall, was redeveloped by Stirling Properties in 2006 at the request of Palace Properties, LLC, the property’s owner, and the City of Hammond. Site work was completed in 2009 by Richard Price Contracting Co., LLC who was the general contractor for the project and Duplantis Design Group who was the civil engineer. Together, all teams worked to create over 650,000 SF of retail and restaurant space that challenged them to breathe new life into an ailing property.

Stirling Properties Announces that The Children’s Place is Coming to Hammond Square
HAMMOND, Louisiana —- (NOVEMBER 11, 2010) Stirling Properties, the developer of Hammond Square, announces the addition of another retail tenant to its power-lifestyle center. The Children’s Place, the leading specialty retailer of children’s clothing and accessories, with over 975 locations nationally and 14 in Louisiana, plan to open its first Northshore location at Hammond Square.
