Jim Dowling, SIOR, is a Senior Advisor/Associate Broker with Stirling having over 35 years of extensive experience in brokerage, leasing, development, acquisition and disposition of all types of land and commercial, industrial and investment properties. His focus is on all types and sizes of urban, suburban and rural land and commercial and industrial buildings including retail, office, food service, medical, warehouse, distribution, service and manufacturing.
Jim has extensive experience in site searches, evaluations and acquisitions, land assemblage, feasibility studies, property valuations, highest and best use determinations, rezoning, land development, build-to-suit, and real estate investment acquisitions. Jim has been a licensed real estate broker in Louisiana for over 35 years.
He is a member of ICSC, SIOR (Society of Office and Industrial Realtors), Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, and member of Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB). Jim attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, and is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Joe’s educational background is as impressive as his professional accomplishments. He graduated from Southeast Louisiana University in 2007, laying the groundwork for his future success. In 2015, he further solidified his expertise by obtaining the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Joe Gardner has a proud and honorable military background. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and courage. His service was recognized with the prestigious National Defense Medal, highlighting his selfless commitment to his country and his fellow servicemen.
Jared Jackson
About Jared
Jared Jackson is a Senior Advisor for the Tallahassee Region. As a Senior Advisor, Jared helps his clients navigate the commercial real estate market and efficiently buy, sell or lease commercial real estate. Jared’s competitive drive, ambition and work ethic help set him apart from others. Before joining Stirling, Jared was a Vice President with Beck Partners, a Pensacola Commercial Real Estate brokerage. Jared also interned with RFT Asset Management in the Property Management division. During this time, he worked with mobile home parks and apartments, giving him a good foundation and understanding of those asset types.
Jared owned and operated his own business, Southern Lawn Management, for 3 years while in college, giving him a better understanding of business management. He has also gained valuable leadership experience as a Division I Scholar Football Athlete with FSU, where he went from a walk-on wide receiver to a team captain. Jared enjoys utilizing the same competitive spirit, drive and ambition he developed as a collegiate athlete to help serve his clients in the best way possible.
Jared graduated from Florida State University in December 2017 with his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate.

Kyle Knight
About Kyle
Kyle Knight joined the Pensacola, FL, office of Stirling’s commercial real estate team in October 2018 and specializes in retail landlord and tenant representation, site selection, project leasing, investment sales, and multi-family land development. As a 20+ year commercial real estate brokerage veteran, Knight has worked in commercial real estate brokerage since graduating from the University of Alabama.
During this time, Knight has worked with national retailers, Fortune 500 companies, developers, investors, and local and regional users in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial real estate throughout Alabama and Florida. His primary geographic focus includes Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama.
Scott Macdonald
About Scott
Scott Macdonald serves as a Senior Advisor with Stirling commercial real estate team, working from the company’s Baton Rouge office. He has more than 26 years of commercial real estate experience and a background that includes the negotiation and successful closing of over $700 million in sales and leasing transactions. His caliber of expertise adds depth to Stirling’s roster and a specialty in office leasing.
Notable lease transactions include Cadence Insurance, Dartpoints, EATON, GIS Engineering, GMFS, EisnerAmper, CDI Corporation, HUB International, LWCC, Magellan HRSC Inc., Excel Group Services, Inc., Progressive Insurance, Louisiana State University, Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, Department of State- Louisiana Secretary of State, and The Hospice Foundation of Greater Baton Rouge.
Since joining Stirling in 2011, Scott has been a top producing agent for the company. He is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors (GBRAR) and served on the Board of Directors for the Commercial Investment Division (CID).
Scott previously served as the Chairperson for the Baton Rouge CID Trends Seminar. He has also served on the Board of Managers for the Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB) from 2018-2019. In addition, Mr. Macdonald served on the Executive Leadership Team of the American Heart Association Capital Area Heart Walk.
Before joining Stirling, Scott worked at Cassidy Turley, a commercial real estate brokerage company in San Jose, California, where his primary focus was office and manufacturing leasing and sales. Mr. Macdonald is a Louisiana native and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.
Angela McArthur
About Angela
Angela McArthur joined Stirling’s commercial real estate team in 2014 and is based in the company’s Daphne office. She represents local, regional, and national clients, specializing in retail site selection, sales and leasing, buyer and tenant representation, and corporate leasing services. Angie’s experience spans a variety of property types, including restaurants, retail centers, and office properties. Angie enjoys connecting clients with the perfect property and takes pride in helping clients achieve their goals in the dynamic real estate market.
Angie is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has previously served on the Public Private Partnership (P3) Planning Committee, where they contributed to collaborative initiatives in commercial development. She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the Mobile Commercial Exchange Club, an organization dedicated to fostering professional networking and sharing market insights among commercial real estate professionals.
Outside of her professional roles, Angela is passionate about serving her community. She volunteers regularly with the Ronald McDonald House, helping to organize fundraising events that support families in need, and has contributed to the former Ken Stabler Celebrity Golf Tournament, aiding charitable efforts across the region. Angie’s dedication to both her clients and her community reflects her commitment to making a positive impact.
