As we celebrate 50 Years of Stirling, we’re proud to look back on the pivotal projects that helped shape our legacy. In 2001, we developed our first Walgreens in Hammond, Louisiana—a major step following the successful development of several Eckerd Drug Stores.
That single project marked the beginning of a 15-year run, during which we developed over 20 Walgreens locations across Louisiana and Mississippi, expanding access to healthcare and convenience for countless communities.

Throwback to 1988!
That year marked a major turning point in our journey—Maurin-Ogden acquired Stirling & Associates, expanding into third-party brokerage and management services. Today, we manage over 200 properties totaling over 20 million square feet! We also launched our first residential brokerage office in Lafayette, LA, which later expanded to eight regional locations. These milestones helped shape the Stirling we know today!
