Stirling Properties Promotes Chris Abadie to Vice President and Manager of Commercial Brokerage Division

Chris AbadieCOVINGTON, Louisiana —- (November 17, 2011) Stirling Properties has promoted Chris Abadie to Vice President and Manager of the Commercial Brokerage Division after 11 years as a Sales and Leasing Executive with the company.  

“During Chris’s tenure with Stirling Properties, he has not only been a productive agent, consistently representing large clients, but has demonstrated management qualities that we feel prove to be an invaluable asset,” stated Marty Mayer, President and CEO of Stirling Properties. 

In his new role, Mr. Abadie will oversee all aspects of commercial operations throughout each of Stirling Properties brokerage offices located in Louisiana and Mississippi.  His focus will include directing sales efforts, new business development, recruitment, and training of new agents. 

“The opportunity to lead the Commercial Brokerage Division at Stirling Properties is an honor as I feel we have a great Team of agents,” said Abadie.  “My goal is to foster continued growth of the division while maintaining the standards as a market leader in the Gulf South.” 

Since joining Stirling Properties in 2001, Mr. Abadie has been active in the commercial real estate industry, successfully completing numerous transactions as both a landlord and tenant representative in Louisiana and Mississippi.  His expertise includes investment sales, big box and anchor space dispositions, commercial land sales and leasing, single tenant sales and leasing, shopping center leasing, and consulting. 

Mr. Abadie is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Louisiana Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members, the Commercial Investment Division of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and serves on the Southeast Council of the Retail Brokers Network.

A graduate of Nicholls State University, Mr. Abadie earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing.
