Marty Mayer serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Stirling Properties and ERA Stirling Properties. He also serves on the board of Stirling Properties and is a Principal in the firm.

Mr. Mayer is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and currently serves as Louisiana State Director, and Co-Chair of ICSC Open Air Center Committee. He is Chairman-Elect of Greater New Orleans, Inc (GNO, Inc.) which is a regional economic alliance serving the 10 parishes of Greater New Orleans. He has also been active for Insurance Task Forces for both ICSC and GNO, Inc. He is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Leadership Group, and is currently serving as Chair of the ULI Small Scale Development Council (Silver Flight). Mr. Mayer was selected as one of 50 representatives statewide to join Governor Bobby Jindal’s Ethics Transition Advisory Council and recently appointed to the Board of Commerce and Industry for the State of Louisiana.

Mr. Mayer is also past Chairman of the Board of St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as a member of the Public Policy Committee. He also serves as Commissioner of St. Tammany Economic Development District and serves on the Executive Committee for the Northshore Business Council.

Other civic and business activities in which Mr. Mayer serves are member of the fundraising committee of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and as a member of the ERA President’s Circle. Mr. Mayer received a BSME and an MBA in Finance from Tulane University.
