| Stirling in the News | Press Releases | Media inquiries contact Donna Derokey, Vice President of Marketing ERA Stirling Properties' Mel Landry Completes LRLeadership Program Thursday, October 8th, 2009 The meritorious leadership distinction was earned by attending a series of four retreats spanning a minimum of fifty-five hours of leadership training, covering many subjects including: communications, anatomy of a leader, management essentials, networking, Louisiana legislature, risk management, decision making and implementation. The program was facilitated by Harold Suire, CEO of Education, Research and Information Services, Inc., who has facilitated similar programs for Fortune 500 companies, economic development groups, local, city and state governments and other non-profit organizations. Other speakers included: Malcolm A. Young, Jr., CEO, Louisiana REALTORS®, Baton Rouge, LA; Louie Larimer Land Visions, LLC, Colorado Springs, CO; Secretary of State Jay Dardenne, Baton Rouge, LA and Gary Golden, Golden Opportunities, LLC, Baton Rouge, LA. "The leadership training that Mel received will not only help better serve his clientele more effectively, but will also better direct his REALTOR® organization and the community," said Nancy Breitenbach, Managing Broker of ERA Stirling Properties' Greater Baton Rouge offices.
